邁可．克雷克Michael Craik（Scotland, b.1972）出生於愛丁堡，現居住與創作於蘇格蘭法夫。擁有溫徹斯特藝術學院美術碩士與阿伯丁格雷藝術學院美術榮譽學士學位。透過疊加顏料並打磨畫面，創造展現時間流逝感的簡約色塊。在超過25年的藝術家生涯中，作品於蘇格蘭、荷蘭、西班牙、美國等地展出，並永久收藏於愛丁堡藝術中心、蒙特婁銀行、蘇格蘭皇家銀行等。
邁可．克雷克Michael Craik的工作室位於沿海岸邊，周圍寬廣的天空，潮起潮落的水面變化和地平線，以及風化侵蝕的地景都成為他的創作潛意識與靈感。他的每件作品都是經過數月反覆刷塗、鋪展和澆注半透明壓克力顏料，緩慢而細緻地製作而成。畫面經過打磨抹去繪畫痕跡，留下卵石般光滑的表面，色域在表面上溶解和融化，每件作品都如同一個安靜、沉思的空間，鼓勵觀眾停下來思考。所有的繪畫紋理和痕跡都被抹去，畫面上顏色的潮起潮落反映了每件作品經歷的過程推拉，顏料的層次和揭露，思想的來去，以及時間的流逝。邁可．克雷克Michael Craik透過虛幻的色彩創造出簡約的沉思空間，引領觀者仔細感受時間，沉靜心靈。
