• 德雷克大學（Drake University）藝術碩士，主修繪畫。現居住、創作、教授於美國佛羅里達州，以 Silverpoint 銀針筆創作大型裝置著稱。經由銀針筆的精密與洗煉灰階獨樹一格的創作方式，探討宇宙生命的起源。作品曾受邀參與備受國際尊崇的美國藝術暨文學學會 (American Academy of Arts and Letters) 邀請展，創作並收錄於多本銀針筆歷史書冊，歐美展出經歷豐富。獲全美十數間美術館永久收藏，包括紐約美術與設計博物館(Museum of Arts and Design)、邁阿密佩雷斯美術館（Perez Museum of Art)、斯賓塞美術館、與科勒藝術中心…等等，Carol Prusa 於2017年獲得了SECAC藝術成就獎，並在2019年於美國佛羅里達博卡拉頓藝術博物館（Boca Raton Museum of Art）舉辦大型個展。

     ‘Complex Uncertainties: Artists in Postwar America’ Telfair Museum, 2020   2005年245x120cm銀針筆木板畫作 ’Silent Pregnancy‘ ，入選Telfair Museum ‘1945至今美國戰後代表藝術家 Complex Uncertainties: Artists in Postwar America’ 全美巡迴展。

    自2014年起於Bluerider ART舉辦個展，至2020為第五度個展。受到文藝復興圓頂教堂繪畫的啟發，Carol Prusa 開始埋首銀針筆繪畫研究，以機械紋理低調洗練的灰階，展現自成一格的創作風格。早期以半弧形體，後逐漸展現360度球體功力，近期轉向平面畫作以及大型裝置，跳脫以往球體裝置，開創新平面風格，卻仍為觀者營造無限的視覺感。深受宇宙學、自然科學所啟發，為宇宙萬物間的「未知」所著迷，也融合她於90年代所研究的俄羅斯東正教與藏傳佛教的藝術傳統。美國知名攝影師Bruce Weber 曾於展覽刊物中稱許藝術家Carol Prusa 為「當今銀針筆界最具創新力的藝術家之一」，她將古老的銀針筆技法，結合雕刻樹脂、玻璃纖維、金屬箔甚至是LED燈等當代媒材，根據其複雜程度與規模，一件作品可能需耗費數千小時才得以完成。

    The 11th Annual Manifest Prizewinner: Carol Prusa以作品Many Moons榮獲非營利組織Annual Manifest Prize首獎。Manifest Prize由20位加拿大及美國的藝術專業人士組成評選小組，經多輪篩選評論後，選出年度首獎。

     Vera Rubin：美国天文学家，为研究暗物质存在证据的先驱。

     Cecelia Payne-Gaposchkin：美籍英国女性天文学家和天体物理学家，于1925年在她博士学位论文首次提出太阳主要由氢和氦的相对丰度来解释恒星的组成，使我们得以了解宇宙的组成。

    Maria Mitchell：美国女性天文学家，在女性教育权具有重要意义。她于1847年以望远镜发现了彗星 C/1847 T1，该彗星因此被称为「米切尔小姐的彗星」（Miss Mitchell's Comet）。Maria是美国第一位女性职业天文学家，她在太阳黑子上也做了基础研究。
