蓝骑士艺术上海·外滩很荣幸宣布,将呈现代理德国艺术家斯芬·杜尔Sven Drühl 2026个展《超风景》—雾海之后。杜尔Drühl二十余年来持续探索观念性风景艺术。本次展览将展出主要创作于2023至2026年之间,涵盖三个重要系列:矽胶绘画(silicone paintings)、漆画(lacquer paintings)以及雕塑。

斯芬.杜尔 Sven Drühl (德国, b.1968)PhD in Art Science德国法兰克福歌德大学艺术博士,现居住创作于柏林。杜尔Drühl于1990年代同时研习艺术与数学,当时的后现代思想讨论深刻影响了他的创作方法,并延续至今成为其观念实践的重要基础。杜尔Drül利用非传统的材料如矽氧树酯(silicone)、油彩、漆料等,其化学组成不同的特性,描绘山景、树木、火山等不同的自然主题(motifs)。曾获德国大众基金会、柏林Rohkunstbau国际当代艺术展览、纽约Pollock Krasner基金会的重点支持艺术家项目。曾于重要美术馆展出,包括波兰克拉科夫当代艺术博物馆(MOCAK)、卡尔斯鲁厄当代艺术媒体中心、罗马尼亚国立艺术博物馆,作品获柏林现代艺术博物馆(Berlinische Galerie)、德意志银行、安联集团(Allianz)等永久收藏。

展名《超风景》(Hyper Landscape)并非对大自然的再现,而是对「自然如何被感知」的深度解构。斯芬·杜尔Sven Drühl以数学家的冷静逻辑与后现代的挪用手法,将艺术史中的浪漫主义符号抽离,利用矽胶、漆料与矢量数据重新编码,创造出一种介于真实地貌与数位虚拟之间的「超真实」状态。副标题—雾海之后(Beyond the Sea of Fog)直接对应弗里德里希Caspar David Friedrich经典的浪漫主义遗产——当两百年前那片象征神性与内省的雾气散去, 留下的不再是孤独的旅者, 而是由演算法与工业媒材构筑的冷峻地图。杜尔Drühl带领我们跨越感性的迷雾,抵达一个人物缺席、却充满文化剩余的景观,在此,风景成为了一场关于记忆、人工性,与属于未来的超风景。

斯芬·杜尔Sven Drühl是个数学家,着迷自文艺复兴时期以来艺术历史中的风景绘画。他曾撰写很多关于当代艺术的研究,尤其对1990年代后结构主义及后现代主义其中论述关于作者、原创、组合、混合、混搭、跨载体及跨类型等方向感到兴趣,风景,一直是他创作的重要主题。他使用挪用作为创作的手法之一。利用非传统的材料如矽氧树酯(silicone)、油彩、漆料等,其化学组成不同的特性,描绘山景、树木、火山等不同的自然主题(motifs)。

从欧洲艺术史到日本浮世绘中,自在地转换主题,长时间地观察山水的表面以及引诱人的光线。杜尔Drühl的作品关注「自然观念如何被建构、传播与再制」。他的风景既经过精心构造,又带着某种熟悉感,反映出当代人对自然的理解,正日益受到视觉媒体、数位技术与文化记忆的形塑。在气候变迁与生态脆弱的背景之下,这些作品开启了一个思考空间,使人重新审视我们所经验的风景、透过媒体消费的风景,以及未来可能消逝的风景。杜尔Drühl作品的一个重要特征,是画面中完全没有叙事性的元素。人物的缺席反而间接指向人类的存在与影响。他常以「系列化」方式创作,长期反复回访某些风景母题,在不同媒材、色彩与形式之间变化与转换,甚至延伸至光作品等不同表现形式。他的创作方法建立在「挪用与再诠释」之上。历史风景画、数位渲染影像与数学模型都成为其素材来源,形成一种难以定位于具体地理位置的风景。

2026个展,杜尔Drühl展出四个系列。「漆画系列」以电脑矢量图为基础,呈现高度写实的山脉、火山与海景,彻底脱离传统户外写生的绘画方式。作品《S.D.E.T.》,漆的光泽与油画笔触的明暗构成山峰的立体轮廓,清晰、逼真如现实中似曾相识的存在,模糊了虚拟与真实地貌间的定义。「矽胶系列」则回应艺术史中的风景画传统,将经典图像转化为鲜明的矽胶轮廓,指向自然理想与媒介再现之间的距离。大尺幅新作《A.W.L》以矽胶勾勒山石,使之三维立体化,粉色油彩的笔触则替工业化的冷峻构图增添了人文的余韵。黑色单色画作品《C.D.F(Undead)》,表面以厚重黑色油彩覆盖,视线在画前移动,随着光的反射山峦层次跟着变换。「山脉浮雕」的雕塑作品,源自经过处理的山体地理数据,使作品呈现出宛如电影科幻场景般的地貌,同时仍保留其真实地理来源。作品《Eroded》青铜雕塑,将真实山体石膏模型,以锤、凿与铣床等方式加工处理,破碎与侵蚀的山峰象征自然的侵蚀与时间流逝,这些雕塑是绘画在空间的延伸。杜尔Drühl同时从自身收藏中选出数件十九世纪风景画于展览中并置呈现,其中包括Janus La Cour与Edward Theodore Compton的作品。新作《J.L.C. II》中杜尔Drühl 挪用了其收藏的Janus La Cour画作《海岸景观》(Coastal View)一角,以矽氧树酯与油彩叠加形成鲜明纹理,在跨媒材与混和间勾勒出风景的当代样貌。当1870年至2026年跨世纪之间的作品并置展间,形成了历史风景画与当代艺术实践之间的对话。

斯芬·杜尔Sven Drühl的作品,风景不再只是自然的再现,而是对「自然如何被观看、被理解与被传播」的反思。他将浪漫主义的图像传统与数位影像语言交织在一起,开启一个沉思的空间,使关于自然、记忆与人工性的问题得以被重新提出。
