The legendary Taiwanese art collective Hantoo Art Group — a driving force in Taiwan’s contemporary art history for 27 years — will make its first large-scale debut in Europe. “Rising in Fire: Hantoo Art Group” will be presented in London across two venues, Bluerider ART London•Mayfair and the Taipei Representative Office in the UK, showcasing 13 leading Taiwanese artists and more than 60 iconic works. The official opening reception will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 6:00 PM at Bluerider ART London · Mayfair, one of London’s premier art landmarks. The following day, Friday, October 17, 2025, at 2:00 PM, an Artists’ Talk will take place at the Taipei Representative Office in the UK, featuring ten distinguished artists — in dialogue with Bluerider ART founder Elsa Wang and the British art community.
Founded in 1998, Hantoo Art Group has been at the forefront of Taiwan’s cultural evolution, transforming local experience into a contemporary artistic language while maintaining independence and criticality. Their works embody Taiwan’s cultural diversity and self-determination, revealing an aesthetic that is at once harmonious and sharp.
