Curatorial Statement
Bluerider ART Taipei · Breeze Center is pleased to present Cosmos Chakra, a group exhibition opening in September 2026 for the Mid-Autumn season. Bringing together American artist Carol Prusa, German artist Eberhard Ross, and Czech artist Jan Kaláb, among other international artists, the exhibition poses an ancient yet ever-renewing question: how does cosmic order mirror itself in the body and the mind.
At the heart of the exhibition is a museum-scale, nine-meter double-sided scroll, Strange Attractors. One side traces the chakras of the human body and the outward flow of energy; the other places the artist’s verse in dialogue with the Friedmann Equations — the relativistic framework describing a homogeneous, expanding universe. The inner lines of chakra energy and the outer equations of cosmic evolution face one another across the two sides of the scroll, much as on a Mid-Autumn night one gazes up at the moon, and the moon gazes back down — the small universe within and the vast universe without are, in the end, a single breath.
Around this focal work, Eberhard Ross responds to the vibrations of the cosmos with restrained, minutely attentive brushwork, while Jan Kaláb explores the vibrational order of color and space through geometric abstraction. From here the exhibition unfolds: the inner map of energy traced by the chakras and the outer equations of cosmic evolution are, in the hands of each artist, drawn and questioned anew.
Carol Prusa (American, b.1956) holds an MFA in painting from Drake University and lives and works in North Carolina. Working in the Renaissance technique of silverpoint, she draws on astrophysics to interpret the chaotic interactions of cosmic evolution, rendering large-scale silver-line drawings of exceptional precision and refined grayscale that extend into sculptural form to express the strange beauty of the universe. Prusa has said: “I seek to convey vibrations that are unseen but felt, including echoes from billions of years ago. Like a scientist, I look for new ways to explain where we stand, and to arrive at the fullest possible understanding of the world.” She is a recipient of the SECAC Award for Artistic Achievement, has exhibited by invitation of the American Academy of Arts and Letters, and is featured in numerous histories of silverpoint drawing. Her work is held in the permanent collections of more than a dozen American museums, including the Pérez Art Museum Miami, the Museum of Arts and Design in New York, and the Museum of Arts and Sciences.
Eberhard Ross (German, b.1959) lives and works in Frankfurt and is a graduate of the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen, where he studied under conceptual artist László Lakner and pioneering German public artist Friedrich Gräsel. Ross has long devoted himself to painting and drawing, his work fusing Zen philosophy with a minimalist aesthetic, and his meditative process responding to the order and rhythm of nature. His work is permanently held in the Art Collection NRW (Germany) and the Alte Post Museum für Kunst in Mülheim (Germany), among others.
Jan Kaláb (Czech, b.1978) is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, where he lives and works today. A pioneer of the Czech graffiti scene, Kaláb has spent three decades on a resolutely unconventional artistic path, evolving from the point into circular deformation and three-dimensional sculpture, distilling the wildness of the street onto geometrically warped canvases. He represented the Czech Republic at the Czech Pavilion of the Shanghai World Expo, and his work is held in the National Museum of the Czech and Slovak Republics, the National Museum of Fine Arts of Brazil, and the Osan Museum of Art in Korea, as well as by international luxury houses including Dior and Tiffany and numerous private collections.
Through each artist’s distinct visual language, a shared frequency emerges between order and breath. As the Mid-Autumn moon comes full, galaxy and chakra, inner and outer, body and stars, are drawn at last into deep communion across the vastness of the cosmos.

Willi Siber
(Germany, b. 1949）
Willi Siber (Germany, b. 1949) graduated from the University of Stuttgart, majoring in Art History. He currently lives and works in Upper Swabia, Germany, and is renowned for his abstract installations. Siber states, "My works are always free and independent objects that do not need to be narratively explained." Drawing from the Baroque art and cultural landscape of southern Germany's Upper Swabia, as well as being surrounded by the boundless natural scenery, Siber transforms and distills the Baroque's opulent colors and rhythms, along with his profound connection to nature, into his abstract works. He continuously explores the plasticity of materials, focusing on shape, color, and texture to overturn viewers' visual perceptions. In 2023, he was awarded Germany's most prestigious cultural honor, the "Oberschwäbischer Kunstpreis." In 2019, he held a retrospective exhibition celebrating 40 years of his work at the Villa Rot Museum in Germany, with his works permanently collected by institutions such as the German Bundestag, the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart, the Städtisches Kunstmuseum Singen, the German Embassy in Argentina, Deutsche Bank, private museums Kunstwerk, and Museum Ritter, among others.

Josep Riera i Aragó
(Spain , b. 1954)
Josep Riera i Aragó (Spain, b. 1954), a graduate of the Sant Jordi Academy of Fine Arts, is one of Spain’s most internationally renowned contemporary artists. Based in Barcelona, his work explores the themes of “navigation between the sky and the deep sea,” employing symbols such as propellers, submarines, and airplanes to construct a poetic narrative of time, space, and life. His solo exhibitions have been hosted at prestigious European institutions, including the Heilbronn Municipal Museum in Germany, the Van Gogh Foundation in Arles, and the Joan Miró Foundation in Barcelona. His works are included in esteemed permanent collections such as the Van Gogh Foundation, the Joan Miró Foundation, and Boeing in Chicago.
Carol Prusa
(USA, b. 1956）
Carol Prusa (USA, b.1956), a graduate of Drake University with a Master degree in painting, currently resides and works in North Carolina, USA. Prusa inherits the silverpoint drawing technique from the Renaissance period, delving into astrophysics to interpret the chaotic interactions of cosmic evolution. Through the meticulous and refined grayscale of silverpoint, Prusa intricately incorporates sculpture forms, portraying the beauty of cosmic anomalies, and has gained recognition for her unique artistic expression. She has received the SECAC Artistic Achievement Award and has been invited to exhibit at the prestigious American Academy of Arts and Letters. Her works are featured in several silverpoint history books, permanently housed in over a dozen museums across the United States, including the Perez Museum of Art in Miami, the Museum of Arts and Design in New York, and the Telfair Museums. She has held major solo exhibitions at various institutions, including the Boca Raton Museum of Art and the Norton Museum of Art.
Christiane Grimm
(Germany, b. 1957)
Christiane Grimm (Germany, b. 1957) was born in Stuttgart, Germany, and graduated from the University of Stuttgart's architecture department, currently lives and works in Heidelberg. Christian Grimm focuses on the sensual effect conveyed by special materials like acrylic glass, emerges from the interplay between colours, composition, space, material, and lighting. Her work allows physical light to influence the specificity of the image, revealing three-dimensional gradients painted by light. Exhibited at the Museum Ritter and the Wilhelm Hack Museum in Germany and awarded the public's choice award, permanently collected by institutions such as the City Government of Heidelberg, Deutsche Bank, Das Kleine Museum and Kunsthalle Würth, as well as private institutions like PwC's Assurance Services.
Eberhard Ross

Eberhard Ross (Germany, b. 1959) currently lives and works in Mülheim an der Ruhr and Frankfurt, Germany. He studied at Folkwang-University Of Arts Essen with László Lakner and Friedrich Gräsel. For decades, Ross has dedicated himself to painting and drawing, combining Zen Buddhist philosophy with minimalist aesthetics. His meditative working process responds to the order and rhythm found in nature. His works are held in numerous public and corporate collections, including Deji Art Museum (Nanjing, China), Royal Bank of Canada, Art Collection NRW (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany), and Museum of Art Alte Post (Mülheim, Germany).
Marck
(Switzerland, b. 1964）
Marck (Switzerland, b.1964) is internationally recognized for his video sculptures. Based in Zurich, he is an atypical artist: he dropped out of art school, unable to accept rigid academic structures, and instead worked in fields as varied as auto dismantling, electrical engineering, rock music, and design for technological installations. These unconventional experiences shaped a distinctive artistic vocabulary—blending imagination, reality, and the playful ambiguity of perception. In 2019, he received the International Culture Award from the Accademia Culturale Internazionale Cartagine in Italy. His works have been exhibited at Kunst(Zeug)Haus Rapperswil and are held in major collections including the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; ArtCenter Istanbul; and ZKM Zentrum für Kunst und Medien, as well as numerous private collections worldwide.
Peter Krauskopf
(Germany, b. 1966)
Peter Krauskopf studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in his birth town Leipzig and later continued as a post-graduate under Arno Rink. Known for his break with the figurative tradition of Leipzig painting, Peter Krauskopf especially interested in the process of overpainting, which he understands as an overwriting of time. All of his pieces – the intensive colored smaller plates, as well as the big monochrome color gradients, seem to be abstract at first sight, but they are all ‘concretions of a period of time’. On homogeneous, smooth grounds which either consist of an old, former abandoned painting or a monochrome under painting, Krauskopf performs one single intervention to form a new picture. In 2015 he received the Falkenrot Prize. His paintings were widely exhibited including the Mies van der Rohe-Haus, Berlin, the Forum Kunst Rottweil, the Kunsthalle Lingen and Kunsthaus Kaufbeuren, works presented in the collection of the Albertinum in Dresden, the Ludwig Forum in Aachen, the City Museum of Wrocław, the Kunstverein Ludwigshafen, the Museum Schloss Morsbroich in Leverkusen, Kupferstichkabinett and the Galerie Neue Meister in Dresden, Germanisches Nationalmuseum in Nuremberg.
Thierry Feuz
(Swiss, b. 1968)
Graduated from Geneva University of Art and Design (Haute École d'Art et de Design), Feuz currently lives and works in Geneva. In his artistic realm, art, science, and philosophy converge as he explores the universal meaning of "existence" and presents unseen realms through his unique painting techniques. Thierry Feuz's works have been collected by significant institutions and museums, including Musée d'Art et d'Histoire in Neuchâtel, Singapore Art Foundation, UBS Bank, Saks Fifth Avenue in the United States, as well as the Breeze Crop. and E.Sun Commercial Bank, among other corporate collections.
Lin Dingyi
(China, b.1971 – b.2021）
Born in Taipei, BFA Sculpture, China Academy of Art, China in 1997. Lin currently lives and works in Xiamen, also manage as Director of the Xiamen Unusual Museum. Over the past twenty years, Lin had been dedicated to his art and had created many series of art works mainly using stainless steel and red copper. Lin had several awards including the Biennial Award of the 10th International Biennial Print Exhibit with works collected by National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, Taiwan Arts Exhibition Award and the National Literature and Art Award. Lin's first work of architecture, Taiwan Baishi Art Museum, is known for its arty style of design and had been exposed in many commercial shootings. His permanent collection including the monumental sculpture at the lobby of Xiamen Continental Hotel.
Wolfgang Flad
(Germany, b. 1974)
Wolfgang Flad (Germany, b. 1974) graduated from the State Academy of Fine Arts Stuttgart and currently lives and works in Berlin. Renowned for his distinctive sculptural language, Flad departs from the weight and monumentality traditionally associated with sculpture. Employing wood, metal, glass, and recycled materials, he creates sinuous, irregular forms that embody organic vitality and tension. His solo exhibition at Tampa Museum of Art，his works by permanent collected the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart, Kunsthaus Zürich, Centraal Museum Utrecht.
Desire Obtain Cherish
(U.S.A, b. 1975）
Desire Obtain Cherish (D.O.C.), a.k.a. Jonathon Paul, is a Los Angeles, USA based artist whose works have attracted an audience worldwide. From early roots in L.A.’s street art scene, his repertoire has grown to encompass major international exhibitions such as the renowned Venice Biennale art festival in 2015. New York’s famous Saks Fifth Avenue in 2016 invited D.O.C. and his iconic Meltdown installations to take part in an art and fashion collaboration. The artist’s unique vision and fresh style have also attracted the eye of respected collectors including New York's Mandarin Oriental Hotel, The Ecclestone Collection, The Feinberg Collection, La Laliberte Collection, American DJ Diplo and NBA player Dirk Nowitzki and Andrei Kirilenko.
Jan Kaláb

Jan Kaláb graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, Czech Republic, and currently lives and works in Prague. As a pioneer of Czech graffiti art, Jan Kaláb has been constantly forging a path as a non- traditional artist. He transitioned from street graffiti into pure white spaces, starting with points and developing them into circular transformations and 3D sculptures, condensing the exuberance of the outdoors onto geometrically distorted canvases. He represented the Czech Republic at the Shanghai World Expo in the Czech Pavilion, and his works are held in collections at The National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library (NCSML), National Art Museum of Brazil, Deji Art Museum in China, Daejeon Museum of Art in South Korea, and cooperate with numerous international luxury brands including Dior and Tiffany.
Wu Huaheng

Wu Huaheng received BA from the Academy of Fine Arts at Hunan Normal University and currently lives and works in Beijing. His practice embodies both Zen sensibility and a contemporary experimental spirit. Moving beyond the conventional constraints of brush-and-ink orthodoxy, Wu delves into the intrinsic material properties of ink and paper. Through the stark contrast between “ultimate black” and “hard-edge white,” he constructs a distinctive visual language that challenges the traditional boundaries of ink painting. Exhibited in the Qingdao Annual Art Documentation Exhibition, the Croatia Art Fair, and Ink Asia Hong Kong.
