Bryan Ida
(USA,b.1963)

Bryan Ida is an American artist currently lives and works in Los Angeles. Ida studied and played French horn in symphonies and went on to study electronic music composition and computer sound design in college. As a master mixing acrylic paints, epoxy and polyester, Ida shows his talent by applying unique material on forming abstract landscapes as a great play of color, light and composition. His work has been featured in dozens of museums. Notable recent shows includes a retrospective exhibition at Bakersfield Museum of Art, other exhibitions including deSaisset Museum, Japanese American National Museum, Lancaster Museum of Art and History, Riverside Art Museum, Torrance Art Museum, Long Beach Museum of Art and Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles. His works is currently in Microsoft Corporate collection and Genencor International collection. In 2025 he received the Gottlieb Foundation Individual Artist Support Grant in 2025 and the COLA_IMAP City of Los Angeles Individual Master Artist Support Grant.
