Shanghai|Caro Jost's New works

German artist Caro Jost's works are about themes of time, space, and events. The famous "Streetprint" series are rubbings of traces collected on the street onto canvas. Visited more than 70 locations around the world since 2000, including the street in front of her studio on HessStreet in Munich, the neighborhoods where the artist used to create materials, the traces of the streets that have been deposited through time or events, and her will to create art, have been rubbed into abstract lines on the canvas. Caro Jost made special prints of famous boulevards- Maximilianstrasse in Munich for the "Quartet" group show which takes place at The Bund in Shanghai.
