The title “Unspoken Red Swings” is inspired by the timeless verse of Ouyang Xiu （Song Dynasty 1007-1072)“Tearful eyes ask the flowers, yet the flowers do not speak; scattered petals fly past the swings.” Ouyang Xiu’s poetry is renowned for its profound emotions, delicate imagery, and unique philosophical reflections. This verse not only captures natural scenery but also embodies universal human emotions. The silent dialogue with flowers hints at the inevitability and sorrow of time’s passage, while scattered petals symbolize separation, loss, and memory—reflecting the eternal themes of life’s transience.
