Proust once wrote in Time Regained: “Les vrais paradis sont les paradis qu’on a perdus.” (“The true paradises are the paradises that we have lost.”) This reflection on the beauty of loss provides the compass for Feuz’s practice. His paintings are like fragments fallen from heaven—particles of light, horizons once beheld, moments fragile as mayflies. In his hands, these remnants are reborn, transformed into a radiant cosmos where memory and eternity converge in color. Welcome to join us for the opening.
