A new spice wave has arrived.
Marking their first entry into the global art capital of London, “Rising in Fire: Hantoo Art Group” debuts with an innovative dual-venue exhibition. Founded during Taiwan’s period of social transformation, the 13 members of Hantoo Art Group have steadfastly pursued creation through the challenges of an underdeveloped art economy, inscribing their lives and ideals into the history of Taiwanese contemporary art. For 27 years, they have supported one another like a formation of wild geese, with their brotherhood profoundly shaping their artistic vision and collective identity. The grand opening reception will be held on October 16 at 6 p.m., with nine of Taiwan’s leading artists in attendance.
